I have to admit something.
I am a huge fan. I am a huge fan of a woman called Floortje Dessing.
She is a dutch lady that travels around the world, searching and visiting people that literally are living on the edge of the world. In here tv show called; Floortje naar het einde van de wereld (that means Floortje to the end of the world) she is visiting those family’s and showing their way of living. If you ever thought it’s impossible to travel with kids, a fixed job or no money, think again.

So, why am I telling you this? Remember the blog about living the location independent lifestyle? Here’s my next list how to feel and change your life easy into one of a traveler.

1.Read, reading is free entertainment while you get wiser, tranquil and reduce stress.

Here some books that inspire me enormously: Mutant message down under, Woman in the wilderness, Society 3.0, Busy. How to thrive in a world of too much, The Serendipity Machine, Knowmad Society, Appreciative inquiries of the 3.0 kind, Ecosystem for businesses and Welcome to dancing with life; all worth looking in to!

2.  Share, share your living room on Seats2meet for Locals, your guest room on Airbnb (or your whole house when you are on a holiday, get your meals from Thuisafgehaald.nl, work in cool places around the world, share your stuff on Peerby or with De Deelkelder, share your garage on Djeepo, use your car for Uber or Snapcar, receive couch surfers,  and shop your clothes on United Wardrobe. In this way, you meet new people and you enter small different worlds.

3. Experience serendipity, Serendipity is an unexpected, relevant meeting. You don’t know when it will happen to you but you can help it happen more often in 3 easy steps. Step 1: Don’t be too busy, schedule some “serendipity time” for yourself. Often on a free, relaxing moment, you get creative; so give yourself the time to let go and get surprised. Step 2:  Check-in. By checking in, in The Serendipity Machine (a great tool that facilitates in serendipity) you increase the chance of serendipity because you get matched to relevant people around you. Step 3: Say hello. Saying hi, can lead to a 100 things, you don’t know if one of them will make you happy for the rest of your life.

4. Write down, I am sure you are full of ideas, great opportunities, story’s and talents. Why not sharing them? Share them with us. Would like to write a blog? Like mine, or maybe something totally different. We invite you to tell the world your story. Sent an email to us and we give you access to start writing down and telling your story.

I hope I can inspire you. Have a cool journey!
